As Head Camp Counselor and Cabin Leader it is my fine duty to help out others. So technically, I'm like their mother. Two new CLs have been assigned today, [[How fun.]] both of the seventeen. A boy and a girl. And I have to show them what's the dealio.

I spin around in my wheelie chair at my desk trying to get all of their papers together. I take a look at their pictures. I'm sure I've seen them around camp before. I've just never talked to them. I read their profiles. This girl named Katherine is telepathic. [[or telepathetic, as I only say]] just like me. This other guy is a shapeshifter. How interesting.

I get up from my chair and I walk to the entrance to where I would await my fellow Cabin Leaders.

I closed my eyes as put on my true smile. It was so gracious to be able to have the opportunity to be a cabin leader. I've been at this camp maybe 7 years? It was amazing! This was a year to remember! I just graduated high school, I just made the honor roll! The straight A's party. And juggling the biggest thing a person could! Controlling some damn freaky abilities.

I finally got to the Camp that I so longly awaited. Camp Point. The whole point of my life. The thing I loved second most, second to my parents of course. My adopted parents, not my birth parents. I mean...if they gave me up, they're mother well f'ers. They gave up a pretty good kid, they would be proud! I literally shook the thoughts out of my head and approached 'The Big House'.

I opened the creaky door, and locked eyes with her. My leader! The head camp counselor that I knew for, well I don't know how long! I smiled and wanted to scream out joy. I slapped my smile away, not literally of course, but continuing to lock eyes with her I opened my mouth, "Hi." Is all I could manage to get out. Yup, Hi. Hi.

Katherine was here right in front of me with a peppy smile. I was kind of hard to smile back since it was early in the morning. But I managed to show my pearly whites. "Hi, you must be Katherine." I say with my deep and raspy voice. I move the bangs away from my face with brushing it behind my ear. "It's so nice to actually meet you."

All we needed was Chris.

I step off the bus as we finally arrived at Camp Point. After several hours of driving we were finally here. I smile, I was finally around people like me again, not non-powered people, not that there was anything wrong with them, powered people are just better. This was my first year as a cabin leader, I was leader of Cabin 4 aka Shapeshifters.

I was currently meant to go to a meeting with the Head Counsellor. Nyssa was her name.I have seen her around camp, although I had never talked to her. I begin the walk to 'The Big House' and to the Headquarters. Various other campers are running about already, excited for the weeks that were ahead.

I opened the door and saw two girls, they must be other counsellors. "Hey I am Alex" is say with a smile as i enter

I grinned, "It's like amazing to meet you too!" I told her. I never technically met her, but I heard way to much about her. She wasn't smiling back, well her smile looked fake. But it was morning, so I bet she would come around!

According to my paperwork to become a new Cabin Leader, there was another guy starting today. 'Alex'. Hopefully he was as nice as his name sounded. I thought I should strike up a conversation with her, I mean it was so silent! I opened my mouth, "Hey I am Alex" I heard, making it look like I said it, I turned around.

"Oh!" I said enthusiastically. "Hi! I'm Katherine!" I told him, extending my hand out for a good old fashion shake.

Chris had finally arrived and introduced himself. "Hey Alex." I say with a smile that had stayed on my face. "I'm Nyssa, but you can call me Nyx. I'm the Head Camp Counselor and Cabin Leader of Cabin 1." I set their files on the counter beside me and I clap my hands together.

I was never really good with socializing with people although I'm a pretty fun and all around person.

"Anyway, congrats on being assigned Cabin Leaders."

A rush went through my body and I grinned. Finally! After seven years at the camp as just another kid, now those kids like me, will look up to me. She clapped and it made me feel even better.

One of the things I hated most about life was sharing. Sharing glory, sharing happiness and sharing food! Just sharing. The word sharing made me quirk. "Anyway, congrats on being assigned Cabin Leaders." She said to use. I let on another one of my retarded peppy smiles.

It was weird. My parents always made me feel special, but this was more. This was my people. I grinned, "Thanks for having us!" I told her, trying to be modest. Even though inside I was screaming, Hell yes! In your mother f---ing face! I'm a f---ing leader and your not! But...kept my cool...

"Hi! I'm Katherine!" she says as she holds out her hand. "Hi, nice to meet you" I say as I shake her hand with a smile. I turn to Nyssa who introduced herself and said we could call her Nyx, I nodded a hello with a smile.

She was going to be above us, so I want to be on her good side, "Thanks" I say when she congratulates us. "Thanks for having us!" says Katherine. I nod, "Yeah thanks for having us, I have always wanted to be a Cabin Leader" I smile, that was perhaps a bit to wide.

I smile an actual genuine smile considering the fact on how happy I was when I was named Camp Counselor and Cabin Leader. They were just excited. Who can blame them for that?

Hell yes! In your mother f---ing face! I'm a f---ing leader and your not! I heard. I didn't see their lips moving after thanking, well, me I guess. So I guess it was someone's thoughts. I kinda winced because I didn't like cursing and I didn't like to hear cursing.

I try to smile again, but I don't think the coffee had really kicked in yet. I walk around them to go to the door. "Shall we?"

Alright, given the fact that I have been at this Camp for 7 years I could tell when someone knew what I was thinking. I don't technically curse out loud, just really in my thoughts. I knew she heard something, some part of what I had just thought in my mind.

I looked down, now a bit embarrassed. "Shall we?" She asked, now at the door. I re-adjusted my purse and smiled. "We shall!" I said.

Also, given the fact that I cared a bit to deeply about peoples feelings I turned to Alex. "We shall, right?" I asked, with my voice getting high, in the way that indicated I REALLY wanted to!

I frown slightly as I see Nyx wince slightly, it must have been something to do with her powers. I shrug slightly, as she gave a sort half tried smile as she walked around us and toward the door."Shall we?" she asked as I turned with her.

"We shall, right?" asked Katherine. I nod with a smile as I look at her then Nyx, "Yes we shall" I say with a excited smile as I walk towards the door, following Nyx. I still couldn't believe it, I was a Cabin Leader, I just wanted to grin all the time.

I pushed open the entrance doors and the bright sunlight hits my face. I cover my eyes with my arm as a sun visor.

"Of course you know, this is Camp Point." I start off the introduction. "It has been the home for some for many years. Like myself. I've lived here for eleven years. Since I was seven."

All around us, many campers were practicing there powers and showing off special tricks they may have.

Nyx opened the entrance door that lead to sunshine, that obviously upsetted her eyes because she completely covered her eyes with her arms. I threw a portion of my 'newly' straightened hair behind my back and turned my attention back to Nyx.

"Of course you know, this is Camp Point. It has been the home for some for many years. Like myself. I've lived here for eleven years. Since I was seven." She told us. I smile and opened my mouth, "Wow! I've been here seven years...since I was eleven!" I told her, sounding like an idiot. I mean don't get me wrong, it's just we were opposites when it came to our time at camp.

I looked around the camp and watched all the happy campers practicing their powers and showing off amazing tricks that I don't even think I hadn't even mastered! It was just a big honor to be here.

We walked by the Cabins that were organized in a little semi-circle. They're cabins were toward the middle and I continued to walk straight. I look at Alex and I point to Cabin 4. "That's your Cabin of course. Shouldn't be anything new."

I look at Katherine, "And here's your Cabin." I say pointing at Cabin 5.

I thought that the "tour" was over, but I forgot one thing. "Oh!"

I start scrambling and checking my pockets, "As Cabin Leaders, you get a special private bunk." I take the two keys out of the back pocket of my camo pants. Each one with the Cabin Number on it , with a star so that they know that this key is only for their bunk.

"Your bunk is a special room. It's not big or anything, it's just separated from the rest of the campers."

I had them each their key with a smile. "You'd still have to use your old key to enter the Cabin, but this key only works for your room."

"That's your Cabin of course. Shouldn't be anything new." said Nyx. I nod a smile, I knew that, it had been my cabin every year that I had been coming here. I wasn't expecting to be placed anywhere different. The Cabin Leaders were in the cabin of the people they lead, although his last cabin leader had his own room, he wasn't sure if that was a one off.

"As Cabin Leaders, you get a special private bunk." she said as she took two keys out of her pocket. 'Yes, I get a private bunk' I said in my head as I give a small smirk, 'finally' I scream in my head. I take the key and looked at it in my hands, it felt good. I had always wanted this, and now I had. "Thanks" I said with a smile as I look at her. "I always wanted my own room here" I grin as I look at the key again.

We walked over to an arae of cabins. I looked around and Nyx pointed to a Cabin. In an old, crusty sign, there was a number '4'. That was apparently Alex's cabin brcause she pointed...and told Alex, "That's your Cabin of course. Shouldn't be anything new." She looked at me, then pointed to another cabin. This time it had the same old, crusty sign but the only difference was that there was a big '5'.

"Cool! Thanks!" I told her, once again tugging a piece of my hair behind my right ear. Usually, when I was just a camper, this was basically just the end of the tour. But, as I finally thought I was gonna be free, I heard Nyx voice whisper to herself, "Oh!" She began feeling around in her pocket and pulled out two shiny silver keys. "As Cabin Leaders, you get a special private bunk." She said, handing us the keys.

"Your bunk is a special room. It's not big or anything, it's just separated from the rest of the campers." She told us truthfully. "You'd still have to use your old key to enter the Cabin, but this key only works for your room."

I looked over to Alex, who looked as anxious as I felt, and grinned, "Well...good luck!" I told him, with my signature smile. I pushed the silver key into the, equally, silver knob and watched it creak open. I looked around and it was just regular. I took about a foot and a half more steps and looked up to a star. I once again thrusted the key into the silver knob. I turned it and listened to it creak. I looked around into the small room. Nyx was correct, it wasn't special...but at this point it was mine. I smiled, set down my bag and let it out. A scream. I thought that the room would shatter, but it was fine..."AHH!!!!!!"

It only just occurred to me that I was actually a Cabin Leader. I looked over at Katherine and she grinned "Well...good luck!" she said. I smile at her in return and nod, giving a small wave as she walked to her cabin, "Yeah you to" I say with a smile.

I turn to Nyx, "Well.. I will see you around, I guess" I say with a smile as I walk towards my cabin, "See you later" I say as I approach the door to the main cabin. Unlocking it and walking in past the bunks that had already be claimed by other campers. I walked towards the door that was for my room. I use my new key and eagerly unlock it before walking in.

It was basic, as Nyx had said, but I was all his. I didn't have to share it with anyone. I pretty much throw my bag on the bed. I heard a scream of exictment a few cabins down and laughed, knowing it was probably Katherine.
