The forest was the best place in the world or well one of them. I have always loved all of the nature surrounding me and talking to me. I normally only come out here alone because other wise the plants won't talk to me. Who knew they were so dang shy? Of course right now I was listening to the tree on my left, whose name is Piney complain about her crush the tree to my left whose name is Prickle and how he ignores her all day long. We've had this conversation many times, and I try and tell her that it's because he is facing the other way, but she doesn't believe me.
My back leaning against her trunk I sigh out of not annoyance but boredness. After the third time stories start to get on your nerves especially when your one of the only ones who can talk to them. It would really suck if you could talk to walls because then they'd have so much to tell you they'd never shut up.
I looked up at the sky through the branches of Piney at the sun and then closed my eyes.
Time was flying and I wasn't exactly having fun. I let her voice be a soft lullaby and I started to drink off to sleep. Almost, until she realized I was falling asleep, then she started to yell at me. That woke me up real quick. I covered my ears in hopes it would drown her out a little but trees are really loud, trust me.
