I step out of my cabin and look around. I was looking for one of the Cabin Leaders, Sephy. I had a crush on her. I know what you probably thinking.. 'But Tommy, your only 7'. Well, I have something to say to you, being 7 years old doesn't stop me liking people. I didn't see her standing around any of the cabins.

I stopped and though for a moment, what were her powers again? Something to do with the Earth. The only place around here was the Flower Fields. I began the walk, looking at the other capers as i did. Most of them were much older than me, but I didn't care. I like to think I am mature... at times.

As I approached the flower field, I saw a figure in the distance. "Sephy?" I yelled as I began to run towards the figure. "Is that you Sephy!?" I yelled as I got close. Sure I could be annoying at times, but.. hey everyone loved me because I was a 'cute' kid.

The Flower Fields had been calling me all day, I could sense the way they were dying. It seemed that the flowers didn't get tend to today, and I wasn't about to let them go. I'd go see them, even if it pegged me as an odd one, or even as insane. Nature was apart of me, so naturally I'd want to go back to my marvelous flower fields. My kids didn't need me around, so why not have a little fun myself?

The path up to The Flower Fields was always narrow and long. I didn't mind, looking at the scenery was always fun. I made sure not to wear sandals, as they would only make me feel like I was crushing the life of the forest. It probably was not a wise thing to do, but I was always putting my trust in Mother Nature. What she wanted was what was going to happen, so if she wanted to make something happen to my feet, she would do it anyways. Might as well live, because eventually, I would become the very part of nature I vow to protect right now.

Once I got to my beloved Flower Fields, I went to the clear circle and decided to lay down. It was so peaceful here, that I just couldn't help but close my eyes. I was dreaming of dancing around in the flowers. Time was not a thing in the world. It was like it was my time to shine, and I was doing it in something other than photography. It made me feel fantastic, special. Before I knew it, I was fast asleep in the flowers.

My dreams were broken by the yelling of my name. I didn't even open my eyes at first, just became aware of my surroundings. The plants around me were sharp with protection, ready to fight off my attacker. Before long, I realized I recognized the voice and sighed, opening my eyes and sitting up. "Young one," I gave Tommy a look, wondering why he was out here. "I did not know you appreciate the flowers," I was almost certain that he wasn't that interested in it. "Is there something you need help with, child?" I was always here to help out the kids.

I smile even more when I find out that it is actually her. I continue to run through the flowers towards her, holding out my arms and letting the flowers and long grass go through my fingers as I ran. I was careful not to damage them, apparently the camp made a lot of money from them, but they couldn't sell flowers for that much, could they?. As i exited the flower patch and a clear circle that Sephy was sitting in I slowed down and eventually stopped in front of her and fell down on to my knees, smiling at her. I gave a small laugh as I looked at her in the eyes and then looked away.

"I did not know you appreciate the flowers, Is there something you need help with, child?"she asked. I smile at her with a big grin, "I do like the flowers Sephy" I said trying to sound as cute as I could, girls like cute right? "They are beautiful" I say with a smile as I stand up and quickly run overto the nearby flowers and picked one. "I don't need help.. I just wanted to find you" I grin as I look at her, she was very pretty, "I wanted to talk to you". I handed her the flower, "Here" I say, "Its for you" I say. I look at her it the eyes "Its pretty. Like you" I grin and give a laugh as I look at her in the eyes again.

The boy decided to run through the flowers to me. I applauded him for not smashing the flowers. Most kids didn't realize that the camp made all its money off these flowers. Hell, I had to explain to Charlie why it was not okay to burn them. Then again, she is only three years old, so its known that I'd have to explain it to her. He was seven, and I was pretty sure by how many times I had him run after me, following me to them, I was certain he already knew how they made their money here.

He was talking about liking the flowers, and I couldn't help but smile. Little kids never really liked the flowers, unless they had the same element I did: earth. "Well, I am glad to hear you are one that likes them." It was refreshing to be able to talk to someone about the flowers, even if he was nine years younger than me. He was like my little brother, and I felt the need to help him through his journey.

Tommy told me he didn't need my help, but wanted to find me. "Oh...well, what did you need from me then?" Why was he looking for me? It was when he picked the flower and said it was for me that I realized what was going on in his little head. "Oh...OH." I said, looking at the flower. "That's very sweet..." He said the flower was pretty, like I was, and I unsure of what to say so he didn't get the wrong idea. "Maybe you should give this flower to one of the girls in your cabin, they might get jealous..." Mother Nature have mercy on my soul, please.

"That's very sweet...Maybe you should give this flower to one of the girls in your cabin, they might get jealous..." she said. I shake my head quickly, "Noooo" I say with a small laugh. "I want you to have it. I picked it for you" I smile as I look at her again. "I want you to keep it forever and ever" I smile, "You can keep it alive right? With you plant powers" I ask curious, I was always interested about others powers, most people at camp have moms and dads that have powers, I don't. My mom says that I am special, and that I can't tell people who aren't at this camp.

"I don't like any of the girls in my cabin" I say. Ok that was a slight lie, there were a few girls who I liked, like Red. "I like you" I say as I look at her with a big smile. "I think you are the prettiest girl in the whole world" I say, with a small laugh, "No one is prettier than you" I say. "Thats why I want you to have it" I say looking at the flower as I crawl along the ground till I was next to her and sit down. I was quite close to her. what can I say? I'm 7, I have not concept of person space, at least not others personal space.

The poor boy was insisting that I keep the flower, and I knew I wasn't going to be able to fight with boy. He seemed to be determined with every word that he said. "Okay Tommy, I'll keep it." I wanted so bad to sigh, but I felt bad. This poor little boy was throwing himself at me and I had no hope but to sit here and hope he gets a crush on another girl. "Yes, Mother Nature gives me the ability to keep flowers alive." He seemed interested in my powers, and I couldn't help but smile at him.

He said he didn't like any of the girls in his cabin, then began to insist that I was the prettiest girl in the whole world. "Oh, that's very sweet of you." How does one let down a seven year old, without being completely mean about it? How would I do that? I hate being mean to people, its not part of my nature at all. Mother Nature, give me an answer, what was I supposed to do to make this kid stop liking me?

Tommy crawled over and was sitting very close to me, and I had to say I was uncomfortable. "Does Red know where you're at? She could be very worried." I asked, making a few plants around me grow. As cute of a kid Tommy was, I thought maybe it was time for him to head back for his cabin. Especially if Red didn't know where he was.

"Does Red know where you're at? She could be very worried." she asked as a flowers grew all around her. I looked up at her and bit my lip, I was going to say something but became distracted by the flowers growing. I liked to watch other people use their powers, it was interesting. I was silent for a few moments before I realised what she had said and looked up.

I shook my head silently. "No" I muttered looking down at the ground. "I was going to..." I said "but..Red was busy, so I just walked out of the cabin" I said looking up innocently, "Don't tell anyone I walked out of my cabin please!" I begged as I grabbed her arm, "I-I didn't mean to make anyone worry" I said as a small tear came down my cheek, "I don't want to be kicked out of camp".

"Should I go and tell Red where I am?" I asked wiping my eyes. I wanted to make sure that I was not breaking any rules, I liked this camp and wanted to say. I let go of her arm and stood up, wiping my eyes again.
