Sighing, I flung a rock into the lake. Waves of thoughts flew at me like they were being shot at me from the shotgun I had once stared like it was a savior. My life wasn't too bad, y'know? I just...didn't want to be the person I was. Having powers, no, it wasn't as great as it might sound. I wanted to be a normal person. Being able to do what I could do made me feel like a freak. It was like a constant headache, ripping at my brain. It was cool, sometimes, however. It made me feel like I had power over things. Like...what's the word? Not dictator...ruler. Yes, that's it. I tried to keep my spirits up, however. For instance, watching people socialize and talk made me feel a bit better. I considered myself an optimist. But it also made me want to drown myself in a bath half-full.

I yawned as I woke from my cabin. "Wow and I thought it was all a dream" I murmured to myself. Only yesterday was I far away, halfway across the globe or something, in Asia. Or it was peaceful until our pursuers caught with us I thought. By then my parents were exhaustedand only had a little energy left to teleport one us, and between me and my two siblings they had to make a difficult decision. In the end though they chose to send me, and what became of the rest of my family I still do not know nor do I know wwhether or not they'll come after me. So voila I ended up here at this camp and still don't know much about the place. I arrived ate at night when all my cabin mates were asleep and slept in so by now everyone was gone.

Shuffling around in my pockets, I finally found the map I picked up last night near the admissions office. Inspecting the map I decided to try and look for my fellow cabin mates and decided, seeing as their powers mainly dealt around the elements that they would be at a) the flower fields (but that sounded boring so I decided not to go there), b) the forest (but that seemed like the perfect place to play "Ambush the New Kid" so that was a no, and finally c) the lake (which sounded like fun so I decided to go down to there). As I approached the lake their seemed like their wasn't too many kids there. Some were swimming or playing in the waters, others were practicing water manipulation (cabin mates!)...but before I went to talk to my cabin mates I saw I kid off by himself that was throwing a rock into the lake.

Sorry if the post is cruddy x.x
He didn't seem to happy being off alone and seemed to be deep in thought. Just let sleeping dogs lie one part of me thought. Yeah but what if he's thinking about suicide or that you could never forgive yourself. I sighed, while on the run I hadn't really made many friends...ok so I didn't make any but I could use some brushing up on my sociall skills. Just think of it as practice for when you meet your fellow cabin members I thought. "You know it is a lot cooler when you skip the stone" I said awkwardly trying to strike up small talk. Picking up a stone I demonstrated by skipping it across the lake.
